Refuse Collection Service

Refuse and recycling bins are collected on a fortnightly basis, with the black refuse bin being emptied one week and recycling the next.

The wheeled black bin is provided for the storage and collection of domestic household waste. It should not be used to dispose of items such as garden waste, car parts, concrete blocks, bricks, rubble, soil, trade waste or hazardous household chemicals

Your bin should be placed at the edge of your property by 7:00 am on your collection day so as to allow for any changes in the order in which the rounds are completed.  Test Valley recommend that individual households mark their bins to identify them and reduce the risk of bins being mistaken or stolen.  For further general information on refuse collection in Stockbridge link to the website  http://www.testvalley.gov.uk/default.aspx?page=7406
